The Tasks folder is hidden behind a Calendar View in .Īs Tasks folders are tied to Calendar folders (to create a new Tasks folder in, you’ll need to create a new Calendar folder), you must also make sure that the correct Calendars are selected in the “Filters Calendars” menu as previously instructed. You can find this View menu in the top right corner, below your display name. Instead, access to Tasks is provided via a special View of your Calendar. Unlike the other folders, Tasks isn’t explicitly listed in the Navigation bar. There is no separate Tasks module as there is for (mail), People and Calendar. The Calendar module of also provides access to the Tasks folders. Select or deselect Calendars to mimic folder switching in. This will give you a “Filter Calendars” menu. To select or deselect Calendars, use the Gear icon in the top right corner, left from your display name. Basically, the Calendar is always in Calendar Overlay mode and you select or deselect the Calendars that you want to be visible or hidden in the combined Calendar. This is very similar to the Calendar Overlay feature of Outlook. In, you don’t directly switch between Calendar folders but you can filter from which Calendar folders items should be shown. In the very clean design of the Calendar, it indeed may not be clear to do something as trivial as switching between folders. How do I switch between my Calendars and where can I get to my Tasks folder? In addition, I don’t have the option to switch to my Tasks but Only see (email), People, Calendar, OneDrive and the Office Online applications. However, when I switch to the Calendar on the website, I only see a single Calendar. One workaround for Office 2007 and later is to create a new note and add the categories that you want to backup and restore to it.I’ve configured my in Outlook and there I see multiple Calendar and Tasks folders. Update: As readers have pointed out, this method only works up to and including Office 2003, but not in newer versions as Microsoft has stopped saving category information to the Registry at this point. If you are using a different version of Outlook you need to edit the registry key before you import the categories. This is of course only valid if you import the categories into the same version of Outlook. Load the created file on the new computer and double-click it to import the settings. Select a file name and click on save to end the export. To export the key right-click categories and select export from the menu.
